Marie.  Several cities set records for warm overnight low temperatures.  Grand Rapids starts with a balmy 54 degrees, Muskegon 53 degrees, Lansing 55 degrees, Detroit 51 degrees, Flint 55 degrees, Houghton Lake 51 degrees, and Sault Ste. Marie 42 degrees.  For Lansing and Houghton Lake this inside the warmest December minimum temperature ever recorded.  This was portion of a really warm December that was the eleventh warmest for Grand Raids, ninth warmest for Detroit, the 4th warmest for Flint as well as the fifth warmest for Saginaw.
